Originating in 1874 as a manufacturer of mechanical music boxes, KWC AG commenced with the design and production of tapware in the early twentieth century with great success. Early commissions included the world famous Hotel Ritz in Paris and the Hotel Negresco in Nice in 1911.

Since the early beginnings of the company, innovation has been a major priority at KWC. For instance, with the world’s first pull-out spray kitchen tap that came onto the market in 1957, KWC achieved success with a design that has influenced the world of kitchen tapware ever since.
